KOGI GUBBER: Don’t Bother To Come To Kogi Central For Campaigns, Ohere Warns Wada, PDP

…Says Igala blood would be used to appease masquerades.

The honorable commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Engr. Abubakar Ohere, in a recent meeting with all appointees and local government administrators from Kogi Central, was alleged to have giving directives to disrupt and attack the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and her candidate, Engr Musa Wada, in Okene.

The PDP campaign council is expected to hit Okene on Saturday, 9th November, 2019 in continuation of her campaign ahead of the November 16th election.

“Okene is the home of His Excellency and our home also and it will be a shame if we allow this people and their igala candidate to come here and campaign”.

“All of you should go to your various local government and unleash our boys. By the time we start with their (igala) candidate, nobody will even think of voting them on the election Day” Ohere was reported to have spoken in his local dialect (Ebira).

Sources close to Engr Ohere, who revealed their plans in a beer-parlor gist, apparently with like minds, in a popular hang out in Obehira called “garido” claimed that the strategy is to disrupt the PDP campaign train with Eku (Masquerade) In pretense that the campaign motorcade ought to have stopped for the Eku (masquerade) to pass.

The thug who was visibly drunk spoke with confidence that Mr. Ohere has also released a sum of one million naira to each local government administrator to carry out the operation. The money was said to have been released to Okehi local government area council boss, Mr Abdulraheem Ohiare for onward distribution.

Mr Ohaire, the okehi council boss, has been the arrow head and kingpin of Governor Bello’s violent acts in Kogi Central Senatorial district. You’d recall that this same person was the one Bello used to violently disrupt Barrister Natasha Akpoti’s campaign during the Senatorial election that led to the untimely death of Late Ojo Enesi in okehi.

“Our Leader has instructed us to appease our masquerades with the blood of igala people coming to Okene”, the loose mouthed thug who was already soaked up in liquor boasted.

We are as citizens of good conduct and peaceful coexistence are worried of this trend and technique deployed as campaign tool in our Senatorial district of Ebiraland. We hereby call on security authorities to be watchful and ensure maximum security as the PDP campaign train hits Okene tomorrow.
