“We just realized that of all the sixteen senators who decamped along with senator Bukola Saraki from the APC to PDP hard, hard as they have tried to come back, the Nigeria people in their respective constituencies have insisted on punishing them for being disloyal and transferring or monetizing their mandate, and I think the only one that is still struggling now is Dino Melaye, as you can see from the result so far, Senator Adeyemi is leading by over 20,000 votes, even though INEC insists that we must have a rerun for the remaining area, we are confident, by the special grace of God there is no way he can make up for the 20,000 deficit.
So I think the lessons to be learnt for us as party are rather clear that when politicians goes to the polls to collect mandate on a particular political party platform, and the they get deduced and dump the party to another party, the electorate will always be waiting for them”
