EFCC Arraigns fake Ibrahim Magu in Port Harcourt

Man who was arrested by Economic and financial crimes commission, (EFCC) for impersonating the acting chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu was earlier today arraigned in Port Harcourt.

Mr. Robert Terfa was said to be using the Commission boss name to haras and blackmails seniors official of the Niger Delta Development Commission, (NDDC).

EFCC Port Harcourt Zonal office disclosed the arraignment today shortly after living the court premise, according to commission “The Port Harcourt’s Zonal of the EFCC on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 arraigned a fake ‘IBRAHIM MAGU’ who has been using the name of the EFCC boss to harass and blackmail senior officiials of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for bribes to ‘Kill’ spurious corruption investigations.

“Robert Terfa Swem, the fake Magu, was arraigned before Justice M. L Abubakar of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on three- count charges bordering on obtaining by false pretences contrary to Section 8(b) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act 2006 and punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act.”
