EFCC Arraigns Felix Chikere over N5.5 Million Land Frauds

Chikere Felix Ibeawuchi was on Tuesday arraign by the Economics and financial crimes commission (EFCC) over N5.5 Million land Fraud.

The arraignment took place at IMO State High court, before Justice T.G Ringim.

The complainant who filed the case said that Ibeabuwuchi sold a parcel of land situated at plot No.738 Uratta West layout Owerri Imo State at the cost of N5, 500, 000.00 to him in May 2017.

And the money was paid to him, in cash, but was chase away, by some group of people when went to the said land to developed it.

The complaint said in statement disclosed to EFCC that “after paying the said amount, he secured the Power of Attorney from the defendant but while erecting a structure on the land, some group of people disrupted and chased him and the workers out of the property, alleging that they are the rightful owner of the said land.”
