Senator Yakubu Oseni has described the victory of Senator Smart Adeyemi as long awaited victory.
He said having Smart Adeyemi with them, it make the legislative business more robust, that will bring effective development to the people of Kogi State.
Oseni said this in his congratulatory message to the people of Kogi West.
Oseni said, “This is to extend my unreserved congratulations to the people of Kogi West Senatorial District, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and particularly Senator Smart Adeyemi whose people have just overwhelmingly returned to the Red Chamber.
“It was a well-deserved and long expected victory considering the impeccable track record of Senator Smart Adeyemi and the people-oriented programme of our great party, the APC under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello in the last four years.
“It is my belief that in no distant time, you will hit the ground running in discharging your duties to your people who after careful consideration of your unblemished personality, elected you to represent them at the National Assembly.
“This victory, no doubt will create a new vista for speedy development of our dear state as Senator Smart would join us in legislative business for a robust and vibrant representation which will attract more Federal Government presence in our respective constituencies.
“I specially congratulate Kogi APC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello under whose watch the party enjoys victory.
