Ohere had Flag off Ebira Carnival activities
KC Administrators and other political Appointees to grace event
Panache and glamour will take centre stage at the Ninth Edition of the Annual Ebira Carnival Celebration slated for December 26th to 31st,2019.
The carnival celebration which have help to showcase Ebira rich cultural heritage and promoting the tourism potentials of the Ebira people, will once again welcome the illustrious sons and daughters to Ebiraland.
Flagging off this year’s activities by Engr Abubakar Ohere, the Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, whose ministry over the years have partner with the carnival group to bring to the good people of Ebiraland a befitting Carnival , have promise this year carnival will be different, he said the carnival will celebrate Ebira Victory at the Poll, the victory of His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Adoza Bello.
He reiterated the state Government commitment to the development of culture and tourism , in breaking new ground and harnessing the opportunities for the people of the state.
In a related development, the Administrator of Okehi Local Government, Hon.Abdulraheem Ohiare, who represented other Kogi Central Administrators , promised that the Administrators are ready to host the cultural picnic at various Local Government.
He said this year carnival will be different with cultural innovations.
