I chose happiness when I got divorce at the age of 21 years – Natasha H. Akpoti

Natasha H. Akpoti had pin point some touching part of her life story.

Kogi Social Democratic Party (SDP) gubernatorial candidate of the just concluded November 16th Elections in Kogi State, Natasha described what happen in her life as a part she took for a choice for happiness.

In her statement she share on her Facebook wall, title “Fuel for life”, describes how life begin at the age of 6 years.

Her statement read ;

FUEL for LIFE 🌹

I chose happiness :
When I danced barefoot under the Ikuehi sun
I was 6 but learnt all children rich or poor love fun.

I chose happiness:
When I hawked earrings at Okene’s marketplace.
I was 12 but learnt the entrepreneurship space.

I chose happiness:
When my father, my hero, my fortress died
I was 18 but learnt to be strong for mum & those he left behind.

I chose happiness:
When I gave birth to my first precious born.
I was 19 but learnt I should’ve trusted my parents’ love than escape into a marriage at dawn.

I chose happiness :
When I got divorced.
I was 21 but learnt there was more to life than bruises, fear and pain of living forced.
