Governor Abdullahi A Sule of Nasarawa State has on Saturday witnessed the final of Sen Abdullahi Adamu (Turakin Keffi) Football Cup which took place at the Keffi Township Stadium in Keffi Local Government Area of the State.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of Goriya United. Black Scorpion FC came second.
Governor Abdullahi A Sule, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government, Hon Aliyu Ahmed Tijani as well as the Chairman of Keffi Local Government Council, Hon Maigoro, were all present to witness the final and crowning of the new champion.
Former Deputy Governor, Silas Ali Agara, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa III and Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon Uthman Bala Boss and some top government functionaries were among the dignitaries that watched Saturday’s showpiece.
Pinnacle of the event was the presentation of trophy by His Excellency Engr Abdullahi A Sule.
