Governor Sule approved the appointment of Executive and Ex-Officio members of Nasarawa Health agency

The Executive governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Sule has approved the appointment of

The Executive and Ex-Officio members of the Nasarawa state health care development agency.

The Governor made this known in a public announcement, signed by Tinjani Aliyu Ahmed, the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State on 17th of December,2019.

He said, “In a bid to reposition Primary Healthcare Service Delivery in the State and pursuant to Section 5(1) & (2) of the Law establishing the NASARAWA STATE HEALTHCARE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY, His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A Sule, Governor of Nasarawa State has approved the appointments of the Executive and Ex-Officio members of the Agency as follows:

a. Executive Members
1. Princess Margaret Elayo
2. Hon Musa Namo
3. Dr. Jibril Yahaya
4. Dr Usman Iskilu

b. Ex-Officio members
1. Representative of the ministry of Health
2. Representative of the ministry for Local Government, Community Development & Chieftaincy Affairs.
3. Representative of the ministry of Justice
4. Representative of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA)
5. Representative of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN)
6. Representative of the Association of all Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON)
7. Representative of the National Association of Nurses and Midwife; and
8. Representative of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria.

2. The Executive Chairman of the Agency and the general public are requested to note this development, while the date for the inauguration of the members would be announced later, please.”
