Confusion in Damaturu as Army repel Boko Haram Attacks

Confusion hits Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, as armies repel attacks suspected to be from Boko Haram.

Report by Residents revealed that heavy artillery shelling, especially from the northern part of the town around Gashua road.

Residents ran into the houses for safety while shops and businesses were quickly closed.

While travellers remained stranded on the roads that lead to the state capital as soldiers temporarily blocked the roads.

No comment from the officials as the time of filing this report.
