Senator Abbo called on Federal Govt to invest Premium budget in the health sector

Senator Abbo has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to invest premium budget in the health sector. The senator said this as he paid a visit to the accident victims in the hospital.

The who narrate what he saw in the hospital, has this to say

“My attention was drawn by good Samaritans’ that Student mobilizer, Sandra Teru had an accident along Song road axis.

Knowing well how she contributed to my campaigns through the The Cliff Campus Network, I had to go myself to see her current condition.

On reaching there, I couldn’t help but shed tears. I decided to go round three wards ( to check on accident victim at the female surgical ward, men at the medical ward and also the emergency children ward.

While going round, I saw reasons to why the Federal Government of Nigeria need to take premium budget to the health sector.

I made a one million naira donation to the Hospital Paupers funds taking care of the patients who can not afford medical bills, and are not covered by “insurance”. I had to clear and settle bills of some patients looking at their conditions.

Whatever our differences politically, by our tribe or religion, and the color of our skin, something should always bring us together, that is good governance and humanity.

When our humanity is taken away from us, then we are no longer humans.

We might not be the best, but we must continue giving our best to humanity.”
