Barr. Ikechukwu establish Child Abuse complaint centre in the 27 LG of IMO state

Barrister Ikechukwu Nwaopara on the 21st of December 2019 announced the opening of Child Abuse complaints center across the 27 Local Government Area (LGA) of Imo State.

The Barrister, said he decides to established the center after watching a sad, video where a goineg woman was capture maltreating young child of about 3 years old.

The barrister who disclose this via his Facebook wall promising to be funding the center with N500,000 annually pending the assistance from the government.

He said “After watching a disturbing video of a young woman maltreating and physically abusing a small girl of about 3 years who probably must be her maid, I have decided to establish a CHILD ABUSE COMPLAINT CENTRE in the 27 local government of IMO state.

I shall be providing free legal services with a team of sound lawyers in conjunction with the police and security agencies to fight child abuse in our society.

I shall also be donating the sum of N500,000 annually to this project while hoping on support from government, individual and corporate organizations to fight this war

The center will provide free legal services and mentorship/reorientation seminars for married women living with their children, maids or other peoples children.

Let’s be reminded that the child in your house you see as a maid is someone’s child and as such he or she is not different from your own children.

Lets make the society a better place for our children. Many Children are silently suffering in different homes unreported. Play your part by reporting any incident of child abuse around your neighborhood to us.
