Egbura Youth can’t continue to blame leaders, because some of the solutions lies in our hands – Shuaibu

Adamu Abubakar Shuaibu (Ahoko), has reacted to the lack of development that have ravages Egbura societies.

Adamu said Egbura youth continued to blame their leaders, but actually some of the problems come from the youth.

Adamu who cited Days which were assign to some of the community in Egbura land, Said is mainly waste money, and did not project the cultural heritage of Egbura people.

According to him, the money invest in those Day should diverted to Egbura Cultural carnival.

Adamu said, “Only in EGBURA Land will you hear of different days

  1. Igu Day
  2. Girinya Day
  3. etc
  4. so many others.
The question is, of what positive effect is all this days to the growth and development of egbura Land in general? The only event in egbura land I think is worth organizing is the annual Egbura carnival because it shows to the entire world the rich cultural heritage of Egbura people. Imagine contributing all the money spent in th community days into buying books, sandals and school uniforms for primary and secondary school pupils, imagine using the moneys spent in those frivolities on donating food items to the needy. Why don’t we just come together as Egbura Youths to pick a particular date of the year and tag it “egbura Youth Love Feast Day” or any other name that will project us as loving and caring people. Its time we pick up ourselves to help one another grow because the person you uplift today may end up being your saviour tomorrow. My name is Adamu Abubakar Shuaibu (AHOKO ) and I say let’s make “Love” the only word that matters to us as Egbura youths. We can’t continue to always blame leaders for our problems because some of the solutions lies in our hands.
    God Bless Egbura Land
    God Bless Agabaidu
    God Bless Egbura Youth
    Let’s make Love our Watchword.”
