In his quest to educationally empower younger generations and reduce burden to parents/guardian, Hon Abdulmumini Mohammed Ari ,(Sardaunan Bakono), member representing Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman, House Standing Committee on Youth Development in an elaborate ceremony disbursed cheques to principals for the payment of WAEC fees to the graduating students from their various Secondary schools, 2019/2020 academic session
The disbursement ceremony took place today Monday 13th January,2020 at the constituency secretariat, low-cost Nasarawa in the presence of the delegation from the ministry of Education led by Commissioner, Hon Fati Sabo Jimeta and that of APC under the leadership of Alh Iyal Dantsho, zonal vice chairman, Nasarawa West. Also in attendance are PDP Chairman Hon Attahiru Osu, his secretary and others.
The historic event which is the first of it kind in the history of the constituency was chaired by Hon Mohammed Sani Otto, the Executive Chairman, Nasarawa LGC and attended by the principals, CIA members PDP Chairman Nasarawa LG Hon Attahiru Osu, his secretary, others dignitaries and parents of the beneficiaries. The exercise which aimed at reducing the number of school dropout on the basis of WAEC registrations, consumed about N 33,978,000,00 for 2,427 beneficiaries across 31 Secondary Schools in Nasarawa and Toto Local Governments,
Immediately after the program, the workaholic member Hon Abdulmumini Ari and entourage proceeded to Emirs palace to receive Royal blessings from the emir of Nasarawa Alh Ibrahim Usman Jibrin.
The exercise is scheduled to hold tomorrow in Toto for the last trench of the disbursement to the beneficial students within Toto Local Area. It is now very cleared that Hon Abdulmumini Mohammed Ari is a true representative of the people of Nasarawa/Toto Federal Constituency.
