Nigeria Play writer Professor Wole Soyinka has said that Amotekun has come to stay.
Wole Soyinka said this while reacting to Malami statement who said that the security outfit set up by the South West Governors is illegal.
Attorney general of the Federation, AGF Malami yesterday said that Amotekun Security outfits is illegal.
According to Malami, no region has the right to set up in security outfit without the approval of the federal government.
Reacting to the Statement, Professor Wole Soyinka
said,” Some people who have been sleeping all this time, taking belated actions, watching the people being decimated… and telling us that this initiative is illegal. They should go back to sleep. Amotekun has come to stay. “
