Governor Sani Bello of Niger State Swears in Three New High Court Judges

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has presided over the swearing of three new high court judges in the state with a call on them to ensure quick dispensation of justice while discharging of their duties.

Governor Sani Bello, who made the call while swearing in the new judges of the High Court at the Government House, Minna, expressed confidence in the ability of the Judges to protect the integrity of the judiciary by administering justice to all manner of persons that will come before them.

The three new judges are; Justice Binta Bawa, Justice Danladi Ahmed, and Justice Salisu Alhassan Majidadi.

Earlier, Governor Sani-Bello had distributed an additional 31 vehicles to Shari’a and Magistrate Court Judges in the state, bringing the total to 46 vehicles so far distributed to them.

The Governor stated that the present administration would continue to intensify efforts towards transforming of the judicial system in State and called on the judges to utilize the vehicles towards ensuring proper dispensation of justice in the state.

He assured the Chief Judge that the government will continue to support the ongoing renovation of court structures, adding that providing permanent structures has become a priority of the government.

The Chief Judge of State, Justice Aliyu Mohammed Mayaki, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the governor for empowering the state judiciary and granting them partial autonomy.

Justice Mayaki charged the judicial workers to ensure that they uplift the integrity of the profession by giving justice to whom it is due.
