Hon Isah Abdulkarim ECOMOG and Hon Abubakar Bashir Gegu described today’s inauguration as a positive development and a demonstration of the collective wishes of the people of Kogi state for the entrenchment of democracy in the State. .“As a people, we have every reason to be happy today as we witness over 20 years of unbroken democratic governance in our political clime”.
Speaking at the glace house Lokoja, the duo emerging Leaders urge the Governor and his deputy lieutenants to do more of their usual magnanimity . He implored the Governor not to renege on his promises to deliver on welfare to the 21 local governments so that the quality of life in the State will be enhanced as the people are anxiously looking forward to a new Kogi promised by His Excellency. The Duo restated their believe that No doubt, Gov. Yahaya Bello’s second term in office will ensure a more monumental delivery of good governance.
