The four men arrested at the Ikoku motor parts market in Port Harcourt alongside the late Chima Ikunado have been released following massive online on offline protests by citizens and a subsequent Court order.
While the police try to blame the death of their colleague Chima on “high sugar levels” the life threatening injuries on the four survivors bear marks of beastly torture could be likened to images from Nazi concentration camps.
They were pick up on the street, detained and tortured for alleged car snatching. The owner of the vehicle in question said his car was not stolen and that they were his mechanics who were fixing his car.
