“According to history, THE ADUGA FAMILY are from Benue state settling in Akwu, Ankpa LGA of kogi state, while JOHN ADUGA became the administrator of Ankpa LG through the political priviledge, and compensation in Governor Yahaya Bello’s government, being john aduga the administrator of Ankpa LG has given him edge to relocate his uncle from Lagos to Akwu to take the position of indigene, and the idegene said no to oppression, intimidation, humiliation and blindfolding… So the causes of the Akwu crisis is, When a settler is trying to use his political position couple with the moment of his financial power to made his uncle the traditional ruler of Akwu and the real owner of Akwu said NO, that a settler can’t rule them and the settlers want to use power and authority to made his uncle the ruller of the community, CONFLICT IS BOUND TO OCCUR,… The conflict has now consumed the life of the settlers ruler and others.. May God grant them peace in Akwu community.”
