Borno Reps Member that sponsored 1,000 youths to write JAMB and trained on ICT said 400 beneficiaries have already secured admissions into various Universities.
If you can recall last year December/January 2019 Engr Satomi Saleh Member House is Representative, Jere Federal Constituency sponsored 1000 qualified Jere students free JAMB phase I and phase II is currently ongoing, and God so kind 400 out of the 1000 secured admission in various Universities, Colleges and Polytechnics across Nigeria including Police Academic College Wudil in Kano State and promised to pay them scholarship.
On that note, the HMHoR today 31 January 2020, flagged up the distribution of scholarship to the students who secured admission at progressive House earlier today. The occasion attend by Party, State and Local Government Stakeholders.
On his appreciation remark Jere Local Government Party chairman Kachallah Ali Mai-Fata advice the beneficiaries to be attentive to their academic activities and asked them to emulate the good deed of the Member, tasked them to pray for him to do more of this.
In closing remarks the General Manager RUWASA who of also in attendance said “Since the emergence of Democratic Era in 1999 I have never came across a young politician who is willing to help his people like Satomi, we need to join hand to support this young man for his kind gesture. May Allah guide him righteous”
Beneficiaries thanked the HMHoR for his intervention to their academic activities and promised to support and pray for him.
