Students of Government Girls Science Secondary School, Garaku, who.could not hide their excitement, tumulteously welcomed Engineer Abdullahi Sule on a stopover visit.
The students who lined up by the sides of the road within the school premises, waved and shouted in joy, forcing Engineer Sule to come down from his vehicle and to walk the remaining distance to the classroom area.
Representative of the students, Miss Akwe Faith Daniel, said the students lacked words to show appreciation to the Governor, for intervening and giving their school a facelift.
“All we can say to you Sir, is thank you,” Miss Daniel said.
Addressing the students shortly after inspecting ongoing renovation work in the school, Engineer Sule expressed satisfaction with the progress of work.
While noting that he has fulfilled the promise he earlier made to give the school a facelift, he urged the students to reciprocate the gesture by focusing on their studies.
“I accept that you are thanking me but you should also thanked my friend who undertook to carry out the renovation work,” he stated.
