Borno Gov. Zulum Revisits Monguno LGA, laid Foundation for the construction of Higher Islamic College

Borno State governor, Professor Babagana Umar Zulum yesterday

revisited Monguno, one of the largest Local Government Area in northern Borno, which comprises of Marte, Kala Balge, Kukawa and Abadam IDPs Camps,The Governor reassured them of rebuilding peace and livelihood, he engaged in series of activities which includes:

Distribution of food and non food items to over 80,000 households of IDPs,

Laying of the foundation for the construction of 60 Classroom blocks of the Higher
Islamic College in Monguno with an integrated curriculum

construction of 1000 Houses with the view of ensuring the smooth Resettlement of communities in that area.

Meeting with various Local Government stakeholders Resident in the LGA.

Lastly he met with the security operatives comprising of the military, police , CJTF, hunters and Vigilantes.
