Stop Complaining About VAT and Start Demanding ACCOUNTABILITY From Your Leaders – Yakubu Omoko

Mohammed Aminu Yakubu Omoko has charged Nigerians to stop complaining about the new introduced charge by the federal government of Nigeria in the country.

Recalled that Nigeria government through the leadership of President Muhammad Buhari has introduced new charge in Nigerians which is refer to as Value Added Tax (VAT).

VAT is a consumption tax placed on produt whenever value is added at each stage of the supply chain from production to the point of sales.

The main VAT rate in Nigeria is 7.5%, raised from 5% from 1st of February 2020.

How the charge goes is that everyone will be paying for each phone call he/she make, include depositing and withdrawing money from the banks, and others activities that involved money.

Many Nigerians has condemned the introduction, mostly Non Buhari supporters.

Reacting to the complaints, Muhammad Aminu Yakubu Omoko took to his Facebook wall to say ” Stop Complaining About VAT and Start Demanding ACCOUNTABILITY From Your Leaders.
