Bandits Kidnapped 10 Passenger in Kogi State Demand N1 Million

Unknown Gunmen suspected to be Bandits has kidnapped  10 travellers from Ondo State along Obajana-Abuja Highway in Obajana, Kogi State.

The identities of the kidnapped victims were still unknown.

The owner of the commercial bus which the victims boarded,  Mr Abdulganiyu Hakeem, told Punch reporter that the vehicle took off from Ajowa Akoko and was stopped by the bandits on the highway, abducting all the occupants last week.

Hakeem, a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Ajowa Akoko, Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo state, said all the passengers of the vehicle kidnapped were still in the hand of their abductors.

He said, “The 10 passengers on the bus including the driver were kidnapped and were led into the bush very close to Obajana in Kogi State. One of the passengers is a student of law school in Abuja.”

Hakeem said the kidnapper has put a call through demanding for N1 Million.
