Gov. Bello suspend Kogi University VC, and Kogi Poly rector over non-compliance of TSA

Kogi State Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello ordered the suspend of Kogi State University, now Prince Abubakar University, Vice Chancellor (VC) and Kogi State polytechnic rector because the refuse to remit fund generated from the institutions into Treasury Single Account (TSA).

Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, who confirmed the report to newmen in Lokoja on Monday, said that the Vice Chancellor, Mohammed Abdulkadir and the Rector, Muhammed Atureta, were suspended for insubordination.

Fanwo said that the suspension become necessary because of their refusal to comply with the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy initiated by the state government
