The Nigerian Government has released 1,400 repentant Boko Haram terrorist members into the societies.
The dreaded terrorist group was released a day after Boko Haram terrorist killed over 30 peoples and kidnapped many women and children in Aune town in Borno State.
Confirming the released ” Borno State Commissioner for Information, Babakura Jato, told The PUNCH during an interview on Monday that 1, 400 had been released in three tranches since the ‘Operation Safe Corridor’ programme began.”
