Early morning protests hit Yenagoa the capital city of Bayelsa State following the supreme court judgment, that sack APC governor elect and install PDP candidate as the winner.
Supreme court yesterday sack governor David Lyon and declared PDP candidate Diri winner of the November 16th gubernatorial election held in the state.
Reacting to the judgement , some youths early hours of today morning staged a protest demanding the reverse of the judgement,
The source who sent the report to us said “No David Lyon No Bayelsa protest rock Yenagoa City as Bayelsans block entrance of Bayelsa State and major roads in Yenagoa with flames of fire, for the illegal backdoor supreme court judgement against the swear-in ceremony of APC’s David Lyon as Governor of Bayelsa State.”
