The Traditional rulers council of Ondo state has suspended Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, for six months following assault he unleashed on his fellow Traditional Ruler.
The suspension come following an emergency meeting convey by top monarchs across the state including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in Osogbo, the State capital.
The council also setup a committee headed by Orangun of Ila, Oba Wahab Adedotun, to investigate more further on the assault case involving Oluwo and another monarch in Iwo land.
