The government of Kano State, under the leadership of governor Abdulahi Ganduje has banned street begging in the State.
The banning come few days after emir of Kano State, Mahmmad Lamido Sanusi II issued a statement stating that any father found sending his children to Almajiri should be arrested.
The announcement was made yesterday.
Ganduje Stated that Almajiri System will be implemented into new educational policy in the State.
The development will go a long way to put children out of the street of Kano state who specialized in begging.
