Lagos Govt debunked Coronavirus outbreak

Lagos State government has debunked the outbreak of coronavirus in the State.

According Lawal who share the story, said that the suspected case has turnouts to be negative.

Lawal said “I can confirm that the suspected case of #COVID19 under investigation in Lagos since yesterday has turned out negative.
The Chinese national who presented at the Reddington Hospital, Ikeja @reddingtonlagos yesterday was isolated at Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital and his sample was obtained for analysis which turned out negative for #COVID19.
As of today 27. 02.2020 Lagos has no suspected or confirmed case of #COVID19
I urge the public to disregard any news that does not emanate from Lagos State Government or Lagos State Ministry of Health official communication channels.
I hereby reassure Lagosians that we are putting necessary measures in place to safe guard Lagos state from the importation of #COVID19
Lagos State Government and Lagos State Ministry of Health will continue to monitor the outbreak of #COVID19 globally and will inform the public of any reported case.
Together we can #StopOutbreaks #ForAGreaterLagos”
