US offer $7 Million for anyone with credible information that lead to arrest of Shekau Boko Haram leader

United States (US) Government has offer $7 million dollars for anyone with useful information that will lead to arrest of Boko Haram terrorist leader, Abubakar Shekau.

The offer was announced through the US Department of State.

Recalled that US has On June 21, 2012, designated Shekau a “global terrorist” under executive order 13224. 

The announcement which was made through tweet read:

In a tweet by the Rewards for Justice Program, the counterterrorism rewards program of the US Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service, said, “The United States Department of State offers a reward up to $7m for information leading to the arrest of the terrorist, Abubakar Shekau, leader of Boko Haram.”

Also recalled that, in 2013, US placed a bounty for anyone with useful information that lead to arrest of Abubakar Shekau.
