Alh. Yahaya Bello the executive governor of Kogi has dissociate self from alleged plot to remove Adam Aliyu Oshiomhole the embattled National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Bello said this in a Reaction to APC National Vice-Chairman South-South, Hilliard Eta’s who said that Governor Bello’s is among the governors who is causing the problems.
Bello who speak through Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Evang. Kingsley Fanwo said Governor Bello has no hand in the alleged plot to remove Oshiomhole.
“Governor Yahaya Bello will never do anything that will disrupt the peace of APC. His interest has always been the peace and stability of the party. “He is a true party man whose interest is the continued political relevance of APC, even beyond 2023,” he said.
Oshiomhole who was sacked by high court sitting in Abuja’s three days ago accused some governors and minister of be behind the plot to sack him because of their selfish interest. Corroborating Oshiomhole, the party’s National Vice-Chairman listed Bello as one of the major culprits causing the ongoing crisis in the party. According to him,
“Those people mentioned in that story are the major culprits; perhaps if you add Yahaya Bello of Kogi State there, it will be complete.”
