Indonesia returnee arrested for killing Reverend in Imo State

Charles Nnanna an Indonesia returnee has been arrested by Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) for alleged killing of Reverend father Cyriacus Onunkwo in Omuma village of Oru-East Local Government Area (LGA) of IMO State.

Police who disclose the arrests in a statement on Saturday said SARS has arrested one Charles Nnanna, prime suspect who had been at large over the murder of the victim.

A kidnapped Reverend in September 2017, was later found death, suspected to have been killed by gun while planning the burial of his father.

His dead body found a day later at Omuma.

Nnanna is one of the last member of the gang who carried out the operation.

He has been at Large since 2017, when the rest of his gang was arrested.

Police said that he has confess to the crimes.
