MARRIAGES NOW HAVE EXPIRY DATES

While many are rushing into marriage every weekend, others are rushing out on daily basis.

Over 250 divorce cases have been filed in Uyo, between January and March 2020.

Majority of them are couples in their 30s, whose weddings were conducted between 2017 and 2020.

Among the grounds the couples seek for the dissolution of their union are infidelity, wife battery, assault, domestic violence, infertility, lack of children, sex denial and inability of the husband to satisfy his wife on bed.

This is coming as over 4,000 divorce cases are pending in various Courts in Abuja, the nations Capital.
