Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdulahi Sule has reveal what he told Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje after he called him to informed him that dethroned Emir Sanusi was banished to his State, either if he will receive him?
Governor Sule told Ganduje that it will honour to received Sanusi in his state.
Sule said: “When they made the decision to remove him, the governor called me and said, the emir has been removed, and we have to take him somewhere.
“So, we have decided that we will relocate him to Nasarawa, will you accept him? Who am I not to accept somebody like the former emir of Kano?
“So, I told him, it will be an honour for me to receive him; that I will be more than happy to receive him.
“The only thing I will plead is allow me to select where he will go. Because I knew that was going to be a factor. And his safety was of utmost importance to me.”
