coronavirus: Otene Called on Governor Bello to address Kogi residents of it plan to handle possible outbreak in the State

Otene has called on governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to address Kogi residents of it plan to handle the coronavirus in case of it possible outbreak in Kogi State.

The virus which has been described by world health Organization (WHO) as pandemic has spread all over the world include Nigeria.

Nigeria confirmed it first case 27th of February 2020 from an Italian man who come into Nigeria through Murtala international airport Lagos.

As at yesterday, Nigerian has confirmed 9 case of Coronavirus, which has became sources of worry to the general public.

Otene who was concern of the development said “The executive governor of Kogi has not address Kogi residents on it plan to curtail the virus if possibly confirmed in the State.

Dear Kogites, I think it is about time we seek Governor Yahaya Bello to address Kogi indigenes and residents regarding the government’s plan to handle any issue(s) with Corona Virus.

We need to know because we do not want a reactive but a proactive approach as the devastating news of the effect of this virus continues to grow across nations of this world.

We demand to see a plan, facilities and procedures as it were. The news coming out Enugu and Ekiti on handling Corona Virus related issues are not encouraging at all.

Time to wake them up.
