I have confidence in relevance agency established to fight coronavirus in Nigeria – President Buhari

President Muhammad has reassure Nigerians that his government will protect them against coronavirus.

Buhari said this while addressing Nigerian citizens on the measures put in place by his government to curtail the spread of the virus in Nigeria.

He said “Protecting Nigerians from the Coronavirus is a key priority for us as a Government. We have the Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) working round-the-clock with several other agencies, as well as State Governments, to ensure this.”

“I have absolute confidence in the relevant Ministers in the cabinet, the Presidential Task Force on Coronavirus which I recently established, and the officials of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), who are all providing constant updates and professional counsel.”

He urge Nigerians to continued to obey the instruction issued by the agencies in other to achieved better result.

“I urge all Nigerians to continue to pay attention to and fully obey all the directives and guidelines being issued by the relevant Government agencies.”

Coronavirus who broke out in China late December last year has become a threat to the world.

Nigeria records it first coronavirus case on the 27th of February 2020 from an Italian man who come into the country through Murtala international airport Lagos.

Since them Nigeria has recorded 12 case of the virus, but non has died of the virus.
