Federal Government Announced closure of all Nigeria Airport after confirmation of 10 new case of Coronavirus

Federal government of Nigeria has announced immediate closure of all Nigeria airport following confirmation of 10 new case of coronavirus.

The government said that the closure is an effort from the government to controls the spread of the virus.

10 new case of coronavirus was confirmed this afternoon.

The announcement read” INFORMATION :

Following the announcement of 10 new cases of COVID-19, Federal Government announced the closure of all the country’s airports to all international flights as part of the measures to curb spread of the disease. #COVID19Nigeria

This measure will take effect from 23 March, 2020. Closure of the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos and the Nnamdi Azkiwe International Airport, Abuja.

This is in addition to the closure of the Aminu Kano, Akanu-Ibiam, and the Port Harcourt International Airports, effective from 21st March, 2020.”
