Determined to eradicate flooding in irebosere Areas of Koton karfe as the rainy season approaches, the SSA on security matters, Kogi LG Hon. Isah Abdulkarim with the Commissioner For solid Minerals and Natural Resources Hon Abubakar Bashir Gegu has taken a trip to irebosere street Koton Karfe to ascertain the extent to which the overtime rampaging flood can be managed.
The move was connected to the desire to avoid a repeat of the flood situation in the area as recorded during the last year’s rainy season.
Hon Isah Abdulkarim empathised with all residentials assuring that his administration will work with relevant agencies to resolve the issues thrown up by the overtime flooding.
Assessing the performance of the SSA – led administration in the local government, the Hon Abubakar Bashir Gegu who accompanied the SSA on the tour, said the choice of Hon Isah Abdulkarim ECOMOG appointment has been justified with his commitment and determination as recorded in the past weeks in office proving that indeed good governance was possible if done with sincerity of purpose. He said.
