70 percent of Igala ladies believe that Igala men have pride; the pride may be arguably there but factually, it originated from our proud warriors (our forefathers). To be proud is to measure your self esteem. To be possessed of a due sense of what one worth or deserves is not Pride it is simply knowing WHO YOU ARE.
Consider the following points:

1. BACKGROUND: where one comes from has a greater influence on exhibition of lifestyle. A typical Igala man has some inherence that tagged him to his root.
   Our background both personal and cultural is central to how we are regarded. In the case of pride; we are proud products or offsprings of men who know their WORTH OR VALUE. Not all of us are ready to sell the worth on platter of civilization or romantic love. What is culturally forbidden should be well observed.

In term of romantic love, read carefully!
What most indolent ladies view romantically are not what the term stands for. It does not mean to spend extravagantly; Sister, work for money and not be expecting us dear. Our background is not wealthy; we are wired to our roots and the desire to dust our past won’t allow us to spend on you like the Yorubas or Igbos. We are poor but fast enough, we are rising to success. Who is:
Igala’s Alinko Dangote? Tinubu? Adenuga? Otedola? Come to musicians who are wealthy?
Who is our Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy 2baba Idibia and most well doing musicians?
Come to religious circle:
Who is Igala’s Oyedepo, Eneche, Adeboye Usman Chris, Johnson Suleiman and others with reasonable financial muscles? These people have clan, families who by the interconnected traces are beneficiaries of the wealth. They will spend as U want.

The good number of ladies who complain are from this same poor background.
