THE IMPENDING FEAR OF FULANI ATTACK IN EGUME COMMUNITY

We are writing to inform you the pending doom that may befall Egume community. Egume is known for peace and hospitality. The peace we enjoyed over the years is under threat from Fulani herdsmen.

Earlier today, our people were attacked in their various farm by Fulani herdsmen. This is not the first time.

In our community, we don’t have industries, farming is our only means of livelihood. We eat what we produce.

Herdsmen have taken over our farm, Fulanis are now selling cassava, cashew, yam and other things from our farm. This is unacceptable!
