Late Governor Mamman Bello Ali Of Yobe State (Born in 1958, Died in 2009)

Mamman Bello Ali (1958 – January 27,2009)was a Nigerian Senator for Yobe South senatorial district from 1999-2007. He was the chairman Senate Committee on Public Account from 2003 to 2007, and elected as the Governor of Yobe State from 2007. He was a member of the All Nigeria peoples party (ANPP).

Senator Mamman was born in Jimeta town of Adamawa state in (1958) and had his primary and secondary education in Jimeta and Numan crafts school in what used to be Gongola State. Senator Mamman B. Ali even though going by his history as you can see was born in Adamawa and finished his Primary and Secondary school there, he is an indegene of Potiskum local government.

Also, Mamman attended the Kaduna polytechnic for his Higher National Diploma (HND) and proceeded for National service in both Kaduna and Abuja in (1982).
He worked with the old Borno state as an Engineer for (15) years and voluntarily retired in (1990).

Senator Mamman B Ali holds two different degrees in Construction and Extension from Tuskegee University, Alabama. He died at an undisclosed hospital in United states during an official visit on 27 January 2009.
