“My wife and I worshipped online for Easter, praying for our family, Lagos and Nigeria – Lagos Gov, Sanwo-Olu

Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the executive Governor of Lagos State, yesterday’s easter worship online.

The development come following a lockdown order by the government to curtail the spread of coronavirus.

Some states, like Kogi, River state relax the lockdown order in other to celebrate Easter.

Lagos, Oyo and Abuja who are leading in the numbers of confirm case of Coronavirus didn’t relax the lockdown.

Sanwo-Olu said “My wife and I worshipped online for Easter, praying for our family, Lagos and Nigeria.”
“Easter offers us an opportunity to rethink our relationships as individuals, as communities and as a Nation as we face these extraordinary times together.”
“We are strengthened for the work ahead and pray that the ominipresent God we serve, visits every home at this time.
Amen.”
