Dr. Usman Ogbo, New appointed AG. Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja Visit Palace of the Ohimegye of Igu, Koton Karfe.

The Ag. Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja Dr. Usman Ogbo today paid a courtesy visit to the palace of the Ohimegye, Igu Koton Karfe. The Ag. Rector made a crucial call to the palace to receive the blessings of His Royal Majesty.

Prof. Shaibu A. Ibrahim who led the visit to His Royal Majesty at his palace, praised the new Rector whom he tutored and mentored during his doctorate programmes. He bestowed the virtues of the new rector, speaks highly of his impeccable character and the intellectual capacity he possessed. He concludes by welcoming the new rector to Koton Karfe and the palace of the Ohimegye of Igu Kingdom.

The Ag. Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Ogbo having observed the traditional pattern of glorifying the exalted stool of His Royal Majesty, thanks his royal Majesty for the warmth reception. Dr. Ogbo points out that his Royal Majesty, Alh. Abdulrazaq Gambo Isa-Koto is one of the most respected, revered and prominent emirs in the state, seeks his guidance and advice in the course of his duty as the chief head of the state Polytechnic.

The Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters in charge of Kogi Local Government, Hon. Isah Abdulkarim in his usual manner, welcomed the Ag. Rector to his domain, assured of his protection adequately. The SSA on security matters further congratulates the new rector of his appointment, said, he’s no doubt he’s going to perform excellently in his new role.

His Royal Majesty in his statement having congratulates Dr. Ogbo on his appointment on his new assignment, appreciates the Ag. Rector of the State Polytechnic for according him the respect of being the first custodian of traditions to be visited, said “as a former student of the institution, he’s optimistic that, the institution is going to a record a ground breaking development with him on board, he further restates that, his office is always open for advice and consultations.
