Late Abba Kyari played silent but crucial role in Borno’s fight against Boko Haram – Gov Zulum

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umar Zulum has testified that late chief of staff to president Muhammad Buhari, Abba Kyari is a good man.

Zulum said this in his condolences message.

The Governor who recounts how he has book an appointment six time with late Kyari, said that he always meet him in his office despite he will be in his office before the appointed time.

Zulum said “I have had six official appointments with him within the last ten months and in all the six appointments, he scheduled to see me 8am in his office at the Villa and surprisingly, all the times, I was there before the time and there was never a time I met his absence. He was always in office ahead of our 8am appointments. I never had to wait for him.”

He also described Kyari as man who serve his master with his whole heart.

In the fight against the insurgents, he said Abba Kyari play a critical role.

He said “Late Ya Abba Kyari was also a man of integrity, who served the President with the highest commitment, loyalty and sincerity and had played silent but crucial role in Borno’s fight against Boko Haram, mitigation of humanitarian crisis, rehabilitation and resettlement of victims through his legitimate influences.”

“May the almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the late Chief of Staff, admit him into paradise and graciously look after his bereaved family.”
