By Ismail Aniemu.

An old woman called Raypower FM this afternoon crying that she just lost her son in-law in Kano who exhibited symptoms consistent with Covid19.

She told the radio station that before the man’s death, several calls were made to Abuja phone no of the NCDC after the Kano NCDC phone were unanswered.

The Abuja NCDC Office, according to her, kept assuring that their Kano officials will come to attend to the patient. She said, they never came.

Her son in-law died without being tested to be sure he was Covid19 positive.
She listed what he suffered before death to include, cough, high temperature, difficulty in breathing and inability to talk (at the final stage).

The old woman is worried about the deceased’s wife (her daughter) and the children he left behind.

She was almost begging the radio station to help her daughter and grandchildren to access test, isolation and treatment

Access to test and treatment are not coming as fast as patients desire.
It is better not contracted than struggling to be tested and treated.
If you have no strong reason to go out, stay in, stay at home. Observe the preventive measures like regular hand washing, and of nose masks, hand sanitisers and maintain physical distancing.
The figures are looking scary but together we shall emerge victorious and celebrate post Covid19 pandemic life of bliss.
