Covid-19: commercial vehicles lifting and bringing people back from different towns in Nigeria including Kano, Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja to Kogi – Kogi Guy Called the attention of Gov Bello

OPEN LETTER TO THE GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE.

Your Excellency the governor of Kogi State, I understand you are doing the best you can to ensure the state stays safe from this very rampaging covid19. We appreciate your efforts.
I write to draw your attention to ongoing trends in our dear state, as I write we still have commercial vehicles lifting and bringing people back from different towns in Nigeria including Kano, Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja and several towns in the country. This potent dangers to our dear state should these migrants infect the state with the deadly virus. Their actions of moving around while they aught to be in their place of residence before the out break and lock down is against the government policies of ‘stay at home and stay safe’.
I equally gathered from a reliable source that Dangote trailers have been bringing people from different parts of the North to Lokoja at night alongside their bikes. I there for ask Mr governor, to take a step that could stop the infiltration of people into our state. Task force should be set to stop the entrance of commercial vehicles into Kogi State, at this point we can not trust the Nigeria police to implement this boarder closure, as they would always compromise standard.
Mr. Governor Kogi State can not afford to play with the existentiallity of this very virus, the consiquency will be an experience we can not afford to experience.
We await your steps hopefully we shall overcome soon.
Long live the people of Kogi State.
Sir. Ameh Louis.
