Succour has come the way of a farmer in Use Abat, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State and his family who have been without a decent shelter in the community.

This follows the intervention of a prominent son of the area, Barr. Iniobong Ememobong through his pet project, the Ini Ememobong Foundation.

The farmer, who is in his late 60s, was abandoned by her relatives and friends. He and his family had neither good shelter nor ate good food let alone receiving medical care. In deed, life was harsh and brutish for hattention

today, their story has changed with Barr. Ini Ememobong and wife, Chinonyerem, constructing a decent accommodation for the less privileged family.

The gesture is part of efforts by the Ini Ememobong Foundation to help the family get a new lease of life.

To begin with, Barr. Chinonyerem Ememobong who is the Vice Chairman of the Ini Ememobong Foundation had yesterday took the farmer and his wife to a Hospital where they are receiving medical attention.

As if that was not enough, the Foundation has also provided a temporary rented accommodation for the family in addition to donating clothes and food items to them.

Barr. Chinonyerem Ememobong while laying the foundation for the house said the provision of shelter for the Asuquos was the foundation’s way of supporting the impressive job the Akwa Ibom First Lady, Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel in providing shelter for the vulnerable and the downtrodden.
