See How Teachers are treated in others country, compare to Nigeria

In America the people who are considered as VIPs: Scientists Doctors Engineers and TEACHERS

In the Honorable court of France only Teacher is allowed to sit on the chair.

In Japan police has to take special permission from the government to arrest the teacher.

In Korea any teacher can enjoy all those facilities that a minister in India can enjoy by showing his Identity card.

In Israel a teacher is called Rabbi, meaning
Master.

In different developed countries such as UAE, JAPAN, SAUDI ARABIA, KUWAIT, CHINA, OMAN, TAIWAN, KOREA, CANADA, VIETNAM, etc teaching is one of the highest paid jobs.

In Nigeria and most African countries, degrading teachers, looking down on them and paying them peanuts are very common and regular practice.

Compare the progress that those countries that have much regards for teachers have recorded to the progress that Nigeria of 58 years have recorded, if at all there is any.

Be a proud teacher. Don’t let anyone, not even your employer look down or talk down on you or treat you with disdain.

Let us value ourselves first to attract regard from the public. Stop making people look down on you. Stop making your services so cheap. Charge good money for private lessons. Stop collecting peanuts. Dress well and look good at all times. Command respect because teaching is a noble profession. Go professional by getting every necessary qualifications. Achieve the best and great things out of teaching. Aspire to be a school owner / mass educator and never see teaching as the last hope of Nigerian graduates.
