Hon. Isah Abdulkarim ECOMOG, the Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters to the Governor in charge of Kogi Local Government in the early hours of this morning marched to Ette community of Koton Karfe for an on the spot assessment and the imprints left behind after another attack was unleashed on the people of the area by these inhuman elements.
The SSA was right at the spot to ascertain the shocks and the horrific situation the people of the area went through in the hands of these men of the underworld.
An of elder of the community while speaking on behalf of the community, pleads with the SSA on security matters to come to their aids as they can no longer sleep with their eyes closed.
While speaking through his Media aide, the Senior Special Assistant on Security Matters expressed regrets at the abduction and the turn of events after similar occurrence took place at a neighboring community yesterday, adding that he shared in their pains and griefs.
He empathize with the family of those who were abducted, saying that, he knew what it was like to lose someone to an unknown person and taken to an unidentified place.
In his closing messages to the people of Ette community, the SSA on security matters reassured them that, efforts will be intensified to rescue those in captives and investigations into the incidence has also since commenced, though maximum security personnel will be deployed to the area.
Hon. ECOMOG also warned that, whoever is found guilty of any involvement in this act will not be spared regardless of his or her positions.
